Festivitea marketing campaign
The challenge
Encourage people to raise money in aid of autism this Christmas by hosting their very own tea party.
What we did
An entertaining brief this one – create the look and feel for the National Autistic Society's FestiviTea Party campaign; a community fundraising idea themed around home baking, family and friends. This idea was further endorsed by the charity’s patron, Jane Asher, a familiar figure to those who like a bit of cooking.
We started by creating the nostalgic cupcake which became central to all campaign elements including the welcome pack. This was sent out to those enquiring how to host their FestiviTea Party and contained all the information needed – including how to raise money for the charity, recipe ideas from Jane Asher, promotional incentives, raffle tickets and materials to help with publicising your party. An original and engaging way to put the fun into fundraising (ahem).
“Anything that encourages people to get baking cakes is good in my book! We tried to inject a real sense of fun and life into the creative, enticing people to host their own FestiviTea Party. I think it worked!” said Partner, Alistair Kelly.
