Enchanté Joe Nicholson – ace storyteller and social justice warriorBy Phil Lindsay
A gifted copywriter with a keen eye for a story, Joe joined us from Christian Aid in January, bringing with him invaluable client-side insight and a millennial’s determination to blur the age-old boundaries between agency and client.
A generous collaborator, Joe has settled in well, coming up with a bevy of recent concepts that our clients love. As Creative Director James Barry says: “Joe is simply wonderful. Whether it’s reviewing his concepts or receiving his latest raft of copy, I always look forward to seeing his work – our clients do too.”
When he’s not working on Consider’s latest campaigns, Joe can often be found stalking the corridors of the Barbican clutching a battered copy of The Charterhouse of Parma. If he’s not there, he might be busy in the boardroom – because 26-year-old Joe is one of London’s youngest trustees, sitting on the board of charity Housing Justice.
Rather aptly for a scrivener, Joe hails from Rochester, a favourite of Charles Dickens who owned nearby Gads Place. Working his way up the Thames to Perivale, where he now lives, Joe now mixes running and art-house film with a passion for literature and social justice. He’s also working on his French.
Nous croyons que Joe est un conteur formidable!
