Meet Issie, Consider’s bright new copywriter, who lives for the written word.
Issie Bradford, the newest member of the Consider team, is a writer who truly lives and breathes what she does for a living.
You’ll often catch her tapping ideas into her phone as inspiration hits when she’s out and about, or experimenting with subtle changes in phraseology to find the perfect fit. Issie is what’s known as a “writer’s writer” – as much in love with researching a job to finishing that final draft.
Joining Consider has given Issie the chance to apply her forensic skill (honed studying linguistics at university and working for two years in a commercial agency) to the art of writing for charities, membership bodies and the education sector.
“I love getting into the mindset of the target audience”, she says. “It’s not just about trying to get them to do what you want. It’s about creating a real human connection.”
From the perspective of her colleagues in the creative team, and the clients she’s worked with so far, Issie and Consider are already a match made in heaven.
We knew as much when we found out that, while on furlough back in April, she raised a million pounds for HEROES – a charity supporting NHS staff during the pandemic. Impressive, right?
But Issie’s talents go beyond her way with words. Prior to working in agencies, she was a writer at Delicious Magazine – so getting creative in the kitchen and rustling up a recipe is her idea of heaven.
Apart from gastronomy, Issie’s making the most of living in Sussex – despite the limitations of life right now. She’s finding balance through yoga, crisp country walks, and looking after her adorable new puppy.
And although these strange times mean that Issie’s yet to meet any of her new colleagues in person yet, she’s felt very warmly welcomed.
“At the end of my first day I felt completely ‘in’ the team”, she says.
Believe us Issie – the feeling’s mutual.
