Welcome, Ben – creative powerhouse and our talented new writer

Ben comes to us from Save the Children – where, as Creative Strategy Lead, he directed show-stopping campaigns like Christmas Jumper Day and the Yemen and Syria Crisis Appeals, proving himself a conceptual force to be reckoned with.

His enviable creative talent doesn’t end at the 9 to 5. He’s a published poet, and at his happiest playing around with words – he recently spent an idyllic few months on sabbatical on Greek islands, perfecting his poetic voice.

Ben’s also an enthusiastic photographer and cook – he can often be found serving up lavish feasts of homemade Gnochetti Sarde in his east London flat. And if all that wasn’t enough, he’s a songwriter and musician too, part of a band whose driving ambition is to recreate the Kinks. We see Ben as our Yorkshire reboot of Ray Davies.

Happily for us, Ben’s held onto his softly-spoken northern charm after many years in the big Smoke, making him a joy to work with.

He’s thrilled to be here, too. Consider’s story-led work brought him agency-side, and he can’t wait to get stuck in to long-form copy, especially for our international development and mental health clients.

We’re so pleased he’s joined us.
