The challenge:

To create an appeal that inspires donors to give again, to help more seriously ill children across the UK. We wanted to make supporters feel proud of the difference they make to children with life limiting and life threatening conditions, and to want to make a difference again.

The solution:

We developed a feedback piece, aimed to nurture and cultivate relationships with donors, by engaging, delighting and inspiring them to continue to give. At the heart of the appeal was Isla’s story.

When seriously ill children like Isla are facing scary, frightening, lonely times, Starlight – thanks to their supporters – gives them tickets to worlds of happiness, joy and adventure. Whether it’s the escape to Legoland that an imaginative, playful child has always wanted, or hours of laughter for a toddler enduring chemotherapy, supporters give children temporary distractions from their treatment.

Our ticket concept united supporters fantastic impact in a tangible way. By sending an additional gift, supporters could send another seriously ill child to a world of happiness.
